There’s something about live entertainment that can’t quite be replicated. The energy, the unpredictability, and the fact that everything has to come together in real time. That’s what drew me to live production in the first place, and it’s become one of the spaces where I’ve learned the most about working in entertainment.

My experience spans Bravo! Vail Music Festival, where I worked as an Audio Engineer Intern supporting live performances, technical audio setups, performers, and production teams. At City Park Jazz, I supported FOH and BOH production, artist hospitality, audience safety, and event logistics. At Underground Music Showcase, I worked as a Podcast Producer capturing artist interviews and content within the festival environment.

Live performance has also been a huge part of my creative life through COKO, the K-pop cover dance group I co-founded and helped lead for five years. Through COKO, I’ve directed performances, led rehearsals, developed promotional media, and helped coordinate large-scale events, including collaborations with The Hallyuverse and an official engagement with K-pop group 8TURN.

Across all of these experiences, I’ve learned that live production is about more than what happens onstage. It’s the communication, preparation, troubleshooting, timing, and teamwork happening behind the scenes that make the moment possible. I love being part of that process and figuring out how all the moving pieces come together to create something an audience can actually feel.
